Infinitely versatile songstress Kristen Hertzenberg and critically-acclaimed pianist Philip Fortenberry return to Cabaret Jazz with an encore performance of their sold-out show from last season, "Holidays from the Heart." The two will perform songs from their album of the same title, available on iTunes.
For over five years, Hertzenberg captivated audiences as Christine in Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular. She went on to play Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet on the Las Vegas Strip and established herself as a solo artist, as well. Desert Companion magazine named her Best Torch Singer and other publications have described her voice as “a dynamic instrument,” “lilting and limitless” with “incredible color and depth.”
Fortenberry is an accomplished concert pianist who has performed his sold out one-man show, “The Man at the Piano,” four times at Cabaret Jazz and released nine solo albums. He provided “the hands of Liberace” in HBO Films’ biopic Behind the Candelabra. With over a dozen Broadway productions and original cast recordings to his credit, he has also performed at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and The White House.
