Myron's at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts Las Vegas, NV Kristen is thrilled to return to Las Vegas to take the Myron's stage at the 15th Annual NF Hope® Concert. These events have entertained audiences in Las Vegas, Chicago and New York City since 2011. The concert brings together some of the best that the Great White Way, the Las Vegas Strip and beyond have to offer, all while raising awareness and more than $2 million for those living with Neurofibromatosis (NF). Called “One of the great afternoons in Las Vegas Entertainment” by radio personality Chet Buchanan, and touted as having "an extraordinary line-up of Vegas performers” by the late Robin Leach, this is one unforgettable afternoon of music you don’t want to miss! The concert has welcomed incredible talent to our “stage” including Tony Award winner and Disney Legend Lea Salonga, ‘The Voice of Broadway’ Betty Buckley, Grammy Award winning band All-4-One, local Vegas legend Clint Holmes, American Idol finalists Jasmine Trias and Lou Gazzara, AGT finalist Daniel Emmett, Vegas superstars Tymara Walker, Ashley Fuller, Ruby Lewis, The Bronx Wanderers, Human Nature and many more. The event is inspired by the Emma Leibow, the daughter of former JERSEY BOYS star Jeff Leibow and his wife, Melody Leibow. Emma was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder of the nervous system characterized by tumors that can grow on any nerve in the body without warning, in 2010 at the age of nine months. The Leibows conceived the idea for the concert upon the realization that they had an obligation to their daughter and the 130,000 people living with NF in the US to educate others about the disorder. Kristen Hertzenberg and Philip Fortenberry perform a delightful array of holiday music from their album, taking audiences on a wistful ride and connecting to the heart of the most magical time of the year. The record draws from diverse influences, offering stunning versions of “Silent Night,” Beth Nielsen Chapman and Melissa Manchester’s “There’s Still My Joy,” and A Charlie Brown Christmas perennial “Christmas Time Is Here.” Hertzenberg, a versatile vocalist who starred for five years as “Christine” in the Las Vegas production of The Phantom of the Opera, performs the songs with the close intimacy of a cabaret singer and the power of one who belted out Broadway classics several nights a week. “It’s a true gift each time I make music with Philip Fortenberry. He is absolutely world-class,” Hertzenberg says. “The material we’ve selected brings a warmth and energy that’s entirely different from the rest of the year, and amid the frenzy this season can bring, it puts me right in the frame of mind where I want to be.” Kristen will join the cast of The Q's fourth show of the season, Marvelous Movie Musicals.
