Finding more time for what matters to us

TED Talks are a great way to get a little smarter in a short period of time.

I've heard from so many students that they are struggling with time management. Balancing a full class load, a job (or two), and also trying to find the time for a personal life is a challenge, to say the least! Here, Laura Vanderkam talks about gaining control of your free time.

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less) on almost all topics  from science to business to global issues.

I came across a blog today while doing some research and I found it so fascinating. Betany Coffland is a Juilliard trained opera singer, still performing, who is also a florist. She creates gorgeous organic, locally grown floral arrangements based on individual pieces of music. Scroll through her archives to see if you recognize any of the pieces and whether you think her creations reflect how you see and hear the music, as well.
