Kristen started off 2018 on New Year's Day with a week aboard the Seabourn Odyssey in the Caribbean, performing two evenings of music. She also performed aboard the Celebrity Infinity in Antarctica and then again in Mexico.

In May, she had the great pleasure of joining old friends in a concert with the Abilene Philharmonic where she sang the music of Evita, Hello Dolly, Les Miserables, and South Pacific.

Over the summer, it was off to Alaska on the Celebrity Millennium. And then Quebec and Newfoundland aboard the Seabourn Quest.

Still ahead, she will perform for the guests of the Celebrity Equinox in the Southern Caribbean and the Seabourn Sojourn in French Polynesia and the Isles of the Southern Cross.

She will also perform concerts in Scottsdale, AZ and three in Las Vegas before the year is over, including a return to the Las Vegas Philharmonic for their Christmas Pops concert, "A Classic Holiday".

in the Recital Hall at Lone Star College - Kingwood (MUS 101)

Infinitely versatile songstress and star of Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas, Kristen Hertzenberg, and critically-acclaimed pianist Philip Fortenberry performed "Holidays from the Heart" to sold-out crowds at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas and will bring the show to Kingwood, TX this holiday season. They will offer a delightful array of Christmas music from their album, taking audiences on a wistful journey and connecting to the true heart of the most magical time of the year.

"Holidays from the Heart" includes many favorite holiday classics like "Christmastime Is Here" from A Charlie Brown Christmas, "I Pray on Christmas," "O Holy Night," "It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and never before heard songs, as well.

Tickets are $36 and can be purchased HERE.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Lake Houston Area Relief Fund.

Kingwood's own Kristen Hertzenberg is best known for her role as "Christine" in the Las Vegas production of The Phantom of the Opera and was lauded by critics for her clear soprano voice with "the strength to keep the high notes rooted in emotion." She has toured Europe in a production of the 1960s Love Rock musical Hair and has performed a series of sold-out solo concerts in Las Vegas. She has also starred in the hit Broadway musical Million Dollar Quartet on the Las Vegas strip. In 2014, Desert Companion magazine named her Best Torch Singer and many other Las Vegas publications have also taken notice, hailing her as "graceful," "gorgeously voiced," and "a singer with extraordinary vocal depth.”

Philip Fortenberry, pianist, has played for ten Broadway shows and has performed in concerts from Lincoln Center to Carnegie Hall, from the Kennedy Center to the White House. His one- man-show, “The Man at the Piano”, continues to play to sold-out houses around the country. Philip was the piano double for Michael Douglas’ award-winning performance as Liberace in the HBO biopic, “Behind the Candelabra”. Philip is the music coordinator for the Broadway Series at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas and is also the organist for Community Lutheran Church.
